Rent bikes at the shop next to the parking lot at Mother's Beach. It's easy biking around Marina del Rey go around to Fisherman's Village or head out Via Marina to the North Jetty Promenade. | |||
Fisherman's Village (Fiji Way) Get a bite to eat or just stroll along the water, watch the boats sailing in and out of the the harbor. Pelicans are always in residence along with fisherman on the docks. |

Whale watching or harbor cruises January to April, take a whale watching boat to check out the gray whales on migration. You can pick up harbor cruises at Fisherman's Village and whale watching boats at Marina del Rey Sportfishing (Dock 52). | |||
Watch the boats go by The best place for kids to see all the boats sailing in and out is the promenade along the north side of the harbor. (Take Via Marina or Pacific Ave. until it dead ends at the channel.) Paved walkways all the way to the jetty at the entrance to the harbor. |
