  Iron Bridge Gorge (Telford) – The Iron Bridge Gorge, a World Heritage Site, is a tribute to the Industrial Revolution. The first iron rails, wheels and boats were manufactured here. The Iron Bridge, built in 1779 over the River Severn, is the first cast iron bridge in the world.

      The Museum of the Gorge has a large size model of the gorge in 1796.
