Tokyo – Shibuya-ku |
Hachiko Plaza The bronze statue of Hachiko, an Akita dog, is a favorite meeting spot in Tokyo. Hachiko waited for his master every day to come home from work. When the man died, Hachiko still waited each day at the station. When Hachiko died a statue was erected to commemorate the dog's loyalty. | |||
National Children's Castle If you have toddlers or little kids, this is the place for you. In the indoor and outdoor play areas, kids can run around and be noisy all they like. Ride around on cool Japanese-style tricycles on roof garden or play in the ball pool. Indoors, there are slides and climbing structures and a painting wall, plus music activity areas. Restaurants are in the building, and tables are available if you bring a sack lunch. |
