Northeast Nevada |
Northeastern Nevada is not that populated, and wooden buildings are well preserved in the desert dryness – here kids can get a feeling for the frontier experience. Pioneers on their way to California passed through this territory, and Pony Express riders swapped their horses at way stations along the way. It's also cowboy country with working ranches in operation since the 19th century, and the oldest rodeo in Nevada, the Silver State Stampede. |
