Next to the sandy beaches (with no big waves) is a long promenade, and cafes close by with food and ice cream. Rent inflatable water floaters and water bikes, bring towels, umbrellas, and spend the day. When it's time to leave, at the promenade find little water jets where kids can wash off sandy feet. |

Rent bikes – Bikes, including kids bikes, are available for rent at Port Argeles, where sightseeing boats dock. Miles of bike paths and along the promenade. We took the bike path out to Chateau Valmy. |

Les Aigles de Valmy (Valmy Eagles Park) – At Chateau Valmy, enjoy a two hour bird show. Watch falcons, owls, eagles, flying free in the sky (kids might get to hold a falcon on their arm too). |

Sightseeing boat rides – From Port Argeles, take a short half hour scenic boat ride to Collioure. |
