High Park – High Park is one of Toronto’s green gems – 400 acres of wilderness park, complete with a trackless train, an adventure playground, a restored 1837 cottage and small zoo. During the summer you can catch an outdoor performance of Shakespeare in High Park (free for children under 14). To reach High Park, take the subway, High Park stop. |

Riverdale Farm – Riverdale Farm is
one of the great family sites in Toronto. Incredibly, it's a working farm
in the heart of the city!
There are daily farm demos (milking, butter making, wool spinning, etc.)
as well as special events all year long. At the 1858 barn, you'll find cows,
horses, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese – the whole
range of typical farm animals. Riverdale Farm is located in the Cabbagetown area, on Winchester Street. |
