Parc aux Animaux (Bois de Batie) – The Parc aux Animaux is a small zoo, where kids can see animals native to Switzerland – the Alpine ibex with huge horns is just amazing, plus chamois, roe deer, marmots, wild boar, cute long-haired rabbits, woolly sheep. The zoo is free, open 8am - 6pm daily. |

To get to the zoo, take the tram (stop Saint Georges), or drive to the Bois de Batie, which is large park on a promontory just below the junction of the Arve and Rhone rivers. |
