The Cathedral is marvelouly ecclectic, with pastel colored leaded glass windows, tiled floors, Romanesque arches, a fabulous wooden ceiling, and tombs of Welsh lords. The carvings and tilework are super - kids can look for a red and green dragon, an angel with a chalice, two ravens and three fish on a shield.
The Bishop's Palace across the way is a glorious ruin - private living and eating quarters, chapel, and a Great Hall to entertain important visitors (pilgrims).
